About Us

The Flow Cytometry Core Facility was established within the School of Medicine and Health Sciences in July 2004 when Teresa Hawley was appointed Core Facility Director. In 2009, the facility came under the auspices of the Office of the Vice President for Research. The facility provides high quality service to investigators within the George Washington University, as well as outside individuals. Two flow cytometers in the facility are user-operated and the other is operated by the Core Facility’s personnel.
